Lean Green Belt

The Lean Green Belt is an advanced-level course that equips executives/practitioners with coherent and applied knowledge of the underlying concepts and principles of Lean thinking and practice. It focuses on the importance of applying Lean thinking, tools, and techniques to solve real-world organisational problems and improve processes. It will equip participants with appropriate methodologies and proven practices to manage and deliver sustained Green Belt continuous improvement initiatives, including project conceptualisation, initiation, chartering, planning, implementation, control, and close-out phases.

  • Apply Lean Thinking, Tools, and Techniques to design and deliver process/operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Organise cross-functional process/operational/continuous improvement teams that encompass multiple stakeholders.
  • Integrate reflective practice to enable and sustain organisational learning and continuous improvement.

  • Visual Management, Leader Standard Work, Accountability

  • Lean Green Belt project management

  • A3 Reporting

  • Learning and teaching methods include: Lectures; Tutorials/Practicals/Workshops; Self-Directed Learning; and Reflective Learning.

Completion:

  • The Assessment Method entails participants individually completing a Lean Green Belt Continuous Improvement Project.
  • This independent module is assessed on a Pass/Fail basis.
  • Upon successful completion of this independent module, participants will receive the Lean Green Belt module completion certificate from SETU and the Lean Green Belt professional certificate from Li4.
